2019.12 Fuel Management (Guidelines)

Abstract

This Guideline provides a set of guidance, best practices and tools for the management of Petroleum Oil and Lubricants (POL) / fuel operations and related services in United Nations peace operations and political missions. It serves as a reference document to guide and support the deployment, implementation and liquidation of POL/fuel services in all missions. The guidance provided in this document apply to all personnel of the United Nations Secretariat entities, who are involved as managers, handlers and users in POL/fuel operations in peace operations and political missions. Compliance to this Guideline is recommended, except when specified that compliance is mandatory.
